Buy online the SeaSucker Mini Bomber Bike Rack through our online store.
SeaSucker Talon Roof Mount – BMW M3 Sedan with Carbon Fibre Roof
This is a traditional roof mount setup. Placing the Mainboard here takes advantage of the roofline’s greatest strength. This is due to the crease lines. Wherever their is a crease in the roof is where the greatest strength lies. Furthermore being a Carbon Fibre roof is no issue for our Vacuum Mounts. They will work on steel, aluminium, Carbon Fibre, glass and fibreglass.
Mini Bomber Roof/Rear Window Mount – Audi S3
This is a hybrid setup between the traditional roof mounted and rear window mounted bike rack set ups. Furthermore, it enables full use of the Panoramic Roof whilst transporting your bikes.
More car manufacturers are offering a full glass roof or panoramic roof as an option. As a result, the number of customers contacting us that have a car with a panoramic roof has risen sharply. Luckily all SeaSucker Bike Racks work on glass just as well as on painted panels. Hence our preference in terms of mounting location is
- To secure the bike rack directly behind the Panoramic Roof; or
- To secure the bike rack mainboard onto the fixed portion of the Panoramic Roof. In other words, we prefer to use the portion of the glass roof that does not tilt or slide. This is for 2 reasons:
- It allows you to open the glass roof with the bikes mounted
- It doesn’t put any pressure on the glass roof mechanism.
Most OEM Panoramic Roofs have high-quality mechanisms to operate the roof. Our view is if we can avoid mounting the bike rack on the Panoramic Roof we will. Having said this, we have a lot of customers that have mounted the main board on the opening portion of the Panoramic Roof.
Mini Bomber Roof Mount – HSV Senator Signature
Upon first glance, this looks like a typical roof-mounted setup. Most noteworthy the SeaSucker Mini Bomber 2-Bike Rack fits in between the roof space forward of the sunroof. Once again our preference is to not mount the bike rack on the sunroof if we don’t have to. Consequently, this allows full use of the sunroof with the bike rack mounted.
Mini Bomber Roof Mount – Holden VE Commodore Berlina International
This is a very traditional roof mount setup providing easy access to the bikes.
Mini Bomber Roof & Boot Mount – Mercedes C200
Our customer has chosen to mount the SeaSucker Mini Bomber main board directly in front of the rear window. As a result, the rear wheel straps are located on the boot. Furthermore, this setup minimises the overall height making it easier to fit under carports and garages.
