Nissan 350Z Bike Rack – The SeaSucker Talon

John is a keen Mountain Bike Rider who purchased his SeaSucker Talon bike rack 2 years ago. At the time SeaSucker Bike racks featured white vacuum mounts only. We caught up with John Twelve months later for a review and maintenance check of his Nissan 350Z Bike Rack. His Talon had performed flawlessly, the only issue, his vacuum mounts were looking tired from being covered in dirt.

After discussing his needs John decided to upgrade his bike rack with the latest generation black vacuum mounts. The black vacuum mounts don’t show the dirt and create a uniformed look. Within 5 minutes his Talon was upgraded and ready to go.

John kindly sent us his feedback as per below.

Bought the SeaSucker Talon for my Nissan 350z 35th Anniversary Edition to carry around my MTB. Putting the bike into the car is not an option even with both wheels removed and having tried strap-on bike racks I was left devastated and out of pocket when they left marks on the car. I keep the Talon in the boot, it takes 2 minutes to install, it holds fast when I drive up into the hills to hit the trails and when I get home I can take it off and I have an unblemished sports car again. It’s so good I don’t even bother asking the wife if I can use her Ford Territory with permanent bike racks when I have to go to an event. All I ever carry on the roof of my cars is bikes and I will never get permanent roof racks again as I don’t need them. Very happy with this product and it’s the last bike carrying system I’ll ever need to buy – no more roof racks or tow ball mounts!
