Mercedes C200 Bike Rack – The SeaSucker Mini Bomber

Norman is a keen mountain bike rider who was looking for a Mercedes C200 Bike Rack. He contacted us looking for a bike rack to transport two mountain bikes with through-axle front wheels. He also wanted to use the same bike rack on his Mercedes CLS500. We will cover this car in a later post.

Fortunately, the SeaSucker Mini Bomber 2-Bike Rack is vehicle agnostic. It works on the roof of the Mercedes C200 and the Mercedes CLS350. Installation takes 2 minutes and removal takes seconds. This also saves money at the petrol bowser by not having a permanent bike rack.

The fork mounting holes allow you to angle the fork mounts so the handlebars won’t foul. Norman came up with another clever idea. By rotating one fork mount 180 degrees it opened up an 80 mm offset. This meant the handlebars would never make contact with each other.
