Porsche GT3 Bike Rack – The SeaSucker Mini Bomber
David is a keen road and mountain bike rider who was looking for a Porsche GT3 Bike Rack that could accommodate both quick release and through-axle front wheels. He also wanted to use the same bike rack on his wife’s Porsche Cayenne.
After discussing several options we recommended the SeaSucker Mini Bomber with a third 15 mm through-axle fork mount bolted to the centre bolt holes. The centre holes can accommodate a third fork mount or the SeaSucker Add-On Front Wheel Holder.
Given the Porsche GT3’s limited boot space we also suggested a pair of SeaSucker Flight Decks, the most popular front wheel holder in the SeaSucker range. The Mini Bomber Rear Wheel Strap is integrated with the Flight Deck storing the front wheel alongside the back wheel.
To ensure the Flight Decks will work his mountain bike we also suggested the SeaSucker Mountain Bike (MTB) Plug. It converts the through-axle front wheel into a quick release setup. With the MTB Plug he can now carry the mountain bikes front wheel using the SeaSucker Flight Deck.
The end result is a highly versatile bike rack that will work with almost any car and can carry either two road bikes or one mountain bike. Shortly after making his purchase David sent us these photos.
